The Pentair IntelliFlo VF can be said the one smartest swimming pool pump available on the market today. Produced by Pentair, a leading manufacturer of pool related equipment since 1966, IntelliFlo VF in-ground pool pump provides an on-board computer that automatically calculates the minimum flow requirements of your pool and programs itself to meet all of its tasks.
ULTRA QUIET
Seems like other Pentair pool pumps, IntelliFlo VF pump designed to put the sound out super quiet. The sound out has only 7 to 10 decibels while works. Means its similar to a half the decibel rating of a human whisper. You can imagine, how quiet is this... SUPERB!

Pentair 011012 IntelliFlo VF High Performance 230-Volt 16-Amp Pool Pump, Almond is a quality product, very energy efficient, and very quiet. However, the user interface on the pump to program it is quite hostile for end user: they did not do a good job on its design. . This is not our best recommend pool pump in this category.
